Hizbollah telah mengubah strateginya.

Strategi baru Hizbollah ialah '' mata dibalas mata '' yakni satu sasaran di Lebanon dijawab dengan sasaran

di tanah yang dirampas.

Zaman beralah dengan Israel sudah berlalu dan perhitungan baru sedang berjalan.

Kami Hizbollah tidak akan berada di sisi kebatilan dan tidak akan datang satu hari di mana berkenaan Syria

kami berada di pihak di mana tangan Amerika dilihat di sana dan regim Zionis tidak akan aman dari tindakan

Hizbollah.

Regim Zionis pada hari ini tidak mampu berhadapan dengan Muqawamah (pihak Hizbollah)dan hanya meng-

harapkan situasi Syria dan perubahan pemerintahan Syria.

Musuh mahu mengeluarkan Syria dari perhitungan pertentangan Arab-Zionis dan memukul Muqawamah ber-

tujuan mewujudkan tapak bagi peperangan di rantau.

Regim Zionis dengan memanfaatkan situasi Syria ingin menyerang selatan Lebanon tetapi Hizbollah telah

menghapuskan peluang mereka.

Pertempuran di Syria tidak bertujuan mewujudkan reform tetapi bermaksud mengubah peranan Syria di-

rantau kerana Zionis setelah kegagalan rancangan mereka seperti berlindung kepada UN bagi Resolusi dan

juga pertempuran-pertempuran bersenjata dan serangan terorism yang berakhir dengan jalan buntu kini

berusaha untuk menukar pemerintahan di Syria.

Kini musuh-musuh Syria sedang kebingungan dan tidak tahu bagaimana mencari jalan untuk keluar dari

situasi ini.

Saudi bekal senjata kepada pengganas Syria

Agensi Berita Ahlul Bait (ABNA.co) - Arab Saudi beberapa kali dilaporkan telah membekalkan senjata dan kelengkapan ketenteraan kepada kumpulan pemberontak Syria.

Menurut laporan media bukan hanya Riyadh sahaja yang menjadi pembekal kepada mereka, bahkan Emirates Arab Bersatu dan Qatar turut dilaporkan menyalurkan senjata kepada kumpulan tersebut.

Turut disebut dalam laporan itu, ketiga-tiga negara Arab tersebut menyeludup senjata melalui Turki sehari setelah tentera Syria berjaya menakluki Homs dan Baba Amr dengan menawan ramai militian bersenjata dari berbagai negara.

Negara Syria mula bergolak sejak pertengahan Mac 2011.

Presiden Bashar Al-Assad pada 20 Febuari lalu berkata, terdapat beberapa negara yang menjadi batu api huru-hara di Syria dengan membiayai dan mendukung kumpulan pengganas bersenjata untuk memerangi kerajaannya.

        Menurut Agensi Berita ABNA, Syaikh 'Aidh Al Qarni salah seorang ulama terkemuka Arab Saudi menyikapi kekacauan yang terjadi di Syria dengan mengeluarkan pernyataan yang kontroversial. Memanfaatkan statusnya sebagai ulama, ia mengeluarkan fatwa halal darahnya Basyar Assad Presiden Syria untuk ditumpahkan, dan hukum untuk membunuhnya adalah wajib, lebih wajib dari membunuh seorang ZionisDalam wawancaranya dengan stesyen TV Al Jazeerah, ulama yang terkenal di Nusantara lewat karyanya 'La Tahzan' tersebut berharap kepada semua warga Syria untuk menjalankan fatwanya tersebut. 

Fatwa yang dikeluarkan ulama Saudi tersebut hanya berselang beberapa hari dari diumumkannya hasil referendum rakyat Syria yang majoriti suara menginginkan undang-undang baru dan menegaskan masa jabatan kepresidenan Basyar Assad masih berlangsung sampai dua tahun kedepan. Karenanya sangat tidak relevan adanya fatwa pembunuhan Presiden bagi sebuah Negara yang berdaulat dan mendapat sokongan majoriti warganya.

 Prof Ismail Md Salleh dalam ingatan

EVERYONE who knew him called him Prof. An outstanding scholar in economics and a powerful advocate for the disabled, Prof Datuk Dr Ismail Md Salleh up close and personal was a simple, warm and compassionate person.

He had a fantastic memory with facts and figures. More incredibly, he never forgot anyone he came into contact with. Just a simple hello and he would instantly recognise your voice.

Ismail, 62, died on a flight from China to Singapore early yesterday.

Our paths crossed when we were colleagues at ISIS Malaysia. He was head of the Bureau of National Economic and Socio–Economic Policy Studies and rose to the ranks of assistant director-general and deputy director-general.

That was the time when he started making a name for himself in the public domain. He was a much sought after speaker.

At every conference he attended, at home or abroad, no one saw Ismail as an academic who was visually impaired. His work was all that mattered.

His sound arguments and deep knowledge of the issues made him stand out.

What many did not see was the extra work he had to put in to put his work together.

Work from traditional sources had to be converted into Braille for him first to use as reference and when he completed his own work, that had to be also converted for him to check.

It was a tedious process but he was always very happy and grateful to those who helped him along the way. His brother, Zakaria, was his constant support.

When Ismail attended conferences or meetings, he would need to listen to the proceedings carefully.

All the PowerPoint presentations or written text were of no use to him but by carefully listening, he was able to take active part in all the discussions.

As an advocate for the disabled in general, and the blind in particular, Ismail was a regular participant at the pre-Budget dialogues where he would passionately raise issues of concern to the disabled.

When he was appointed the first blind senator in December 2007, the disabled community rejoiced.

He told my colleague who interviewed him that he was surprised but not too surprised.

“The talk of having a senator to represent the disabled had been circulating for many years now. In fact, I have been one of its strong advocates,” he said.

I called him then to congratulate him and told him how timely that the Persons with Disabilities Bill had just been passed by the Dewan Rakyat and was heading towards the upper House where he would be present.

“They will have to let me speak the most when the Bill is tabled,” he laughed.

As a colleague, I found it a challenge yet a great joy to work with him.

He was always of good cheer and patiently waited for articles to be converted into Braille so he could check on corrections and the like.

Whenever we completed his books or publications and handed them to him, he would be very happy even though no Braille edition was published.

He knew what was in the books by heart and was proud that his disability was never an issue in their publication.

As a social commentator, Ismail was always up to date on current affairs and could be counted on to give his comments immediately.

His input at pre- and post-Budget discussions with the media, including The Star, revealed a clear understanding of the socio-economic issues of the day.

He was born in Kampung Gua in Pasir Mas, Kelantan, in 1947 with a low vision condition and became totally blind when he was 13.

But his condition was never an impediment to what he set his mind on.

At every stage of his education, from primary to tertiary, new windows of opportunities were opened up, and he always found people willing to go the extra mile to help.

Initially, he could not even go to school as there were no schools for the blind in Kelantan. Only two states had such facilities then – Penang and Johor. His father enrolled him as a Standard One pupil at the Princess Elizabeth School for the blind in Johor Baru. It was practically like going “overseas” for the young Ismail.

He was able to return to Kelantan for his secondary education where the Government allowed blind students to be part of the normal school system. At that time, he was one of two blind students placed in a secondary boarding school in Kota Baru.

Ismail did his Form 6 at St John’s Institution in Kuala Lumpur and was awarded a Mara scholarship to study in the US. He would always give credit to Wahab Alwi, a member of the panel, for fighting his cause.

Wahab had once studied under a blind professor in Australia and he was confident Ismail would do well. He fought to convince the others that Ismail would be a worthy candidate for sponsorship.

Ismail did not disappoint. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science from the State University of New York in 1973, and received his Master of Science (Economics) from the University of Illinois in 1974, before obtaining his PhD from the same university in 1977.

When he was younger, he had wanted to follow in the footsteps of his idols, the first two Prime Ministers, and studied law. But he had a flair for mathematics and economics became his chosen field instead.

He served on the Malaysian Association of the Blind and on various committees and working groups at the local and international levels. He was the International University College of Technology Twintech vice-chancellor, National Association of Bumiputra Private Colleges president and National Economic Consultative Council chief rapporteur.

He was also a member of the National Implementation Task Force in the Prime Minister’s Department, and the East Asia International Council for the Education of the People With Visual Impairment chairman.

Ismail also received the Tokoh Maulidur Rasul award last year.

He will be deeply missed. Farewell, Prof.

Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah: Al-Quds is the Capital of Palestine, the Arabs and Muslims And Not Israel Hezbollah Secretary General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah said Sunday during a forum entitled “Declaration of Al-Quds as the capital of Palestine, the Arabs and Muslims,” which takes place in Resalat hall, in Beirut, that Al-Quds is a unique case as it is a holy city for Muslims and Christians all over the world.

Hezbollah Secretary General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah said Sunday during a forum entitled “Declaration of Al-Quds as the capital of Palestine, the Arabs and Muslims,” which takes place in Resalat hall, in Beirut, that Al-Quds is a unique case as it is a holy city for Muslims and Christians all over the world.

“Every Palestinian, Arab, Muslim, and Christian has a national, popular, and ethical responsibility towards Al-Quds. It needs from all of us seriousness and action,” Sayyed Nasrallah said.

“We are not responsible for the occupation of Al-Quds, but we bear the responsibility of the continuation of Al-Quds under the occupation until today, and every faction and people should be prepared for questioning in the Doomsday what did he do for Al-Quds,” His eminence indicated.

“There are extended efforts to declare Al-Quds as the eternal capital of the Jewish people and about that there is a bill in the Knesset,” Sayyed Nasrallah said explaining that “Al-Quds was the center of conflict in the region throughout history and will remain so in the future.” He pointed out that “the Sykes-Picot agreement divided the region based on the notion of controlling Al-Quds and for the same end, the New Middle East scheme was developed and thus future schemes will be put in order to liquidate the Palestinian cause.” Thus negotiations efforts are doomed to fail. “The choice of negotiations to return Jerusalem to the Palestinians is not realistic because Israel considers the city to be its permanent capital something being adopted by the West and this is what US President Barack Obama indicated in his ‘holy commitment’ towards Israel’s security.” 

“Tell me where Al-Quds will be, I’ll tell you where the region would be,” His eminence said as to the fact that the fate of Al-Quds and the whole region is undivided.

Sayyed Nasrallah warned that Al-Quds is being Judaized and desecrated by Israeli settlers calling action and seriousness from everybody to defend Al-Quds and confront enemy efforts to Judaize it.

Major regional changes, which the Resistance had a great role in creating, as well as global ones, make us believe that the liberation of Al-Quds is closer than ever, Hezbollah Secretary General announced. “The resistance’s achievements in Palestine, Iraq and the significant changes in Iraq, Egypt and within the Zionists entity indicates that Al-Quds’ liberation is near.” His eminence added that the firmness of the resistance axis from Iran to Al-Quds makes the goal of liberating the holy city a realistic one.

“We have emerged from maze and the signs of this emerged in the liberation of the south of Lebanon in 2000 and the victory of the resistance in Gaza at the end of 2008 as well as the victory of the resistance in Lebanon in July 2006. All these indications imply that we have entered the time victories,” Sayyed Nasrallah said.

The secretary general concluded that Imam Hussein bin Ali (AS) said one day that “he who follows us, shall become a martyr, and he who doesn’t will not attain the blessed victory”, and today the resistance heroes say to the whole world that “he who follows us is victor, and he who doesn’t will not attain the conquest.”

The Al-Quds forum, which began with the singing of the Lebanese and the Palestinian anthems, was invited to by the  'Supporting the Resistance in Palestine Committee.'

Head of the Orthodox Church Archbishop Atallah Hanna, in turn, hailed Sayyed Nasrallah's stances and told the participants in the forum that Palestinians are "strong with your solidarity with us because you are entrusted to the issue of Al-Quds as the cause of the Muslims, Christians and Arabs since it is the holy city which hosts the most important holy sites in Islam and Christianity.”“Our holy city is going through tragic circumstances since its occupation in 1984 through the weakening of the Palestinian and Arab presence and violation of Al Aqsa Mosque and other sanctities, however, these attempts are doomed to fail,” Archbishop Hanna said in a live video link from Al-Quds stressing the importance of unity among Muslims and Christians for the sake of Al-Quds’ liberation.

Lebanon Victories Role Model to Palestine

In turn, Lebanese Jaafari Mufti Sheikh Ahmed Qabalan said in his speech during the ceremony that “after the victory of Islamic revolution in Iran, the first action Imam Khomeini did towards Al-Quds was establishing the resistance.” “With the May (2000) and July (2006) victories, triumph had turned to be exemplar in Al-Quds,” Sheikh Qbalan said, stressing “the necessity of activating the Palestinian armed resistance through cooperation between the factions and resistance forces.”

Zionists’ Desecration of Al-Aqsa a Slap to Arab RevoltsFor his part, Palestinian Islamic Jihad representative in Lebanon noted that the battle for Al-Quds is a civilization one between a ‘Berberic approach’ that wants to control people and erase their civilizations and loot their sacred site through wars and settlements and another ‘liberation approach’ based on jihad and resistance. “Zionists’ attempts to storm Al-Aqsa in the view of Arab revolts are a slap in the face of these revolutions, especially in Egypt,” Abu Imad Rifai pointed out, wondering where are the ‘Arab League’ and the ‘Organization of Islamic Action’. He indicated that the policy of negotiations lost Palestinians 75% of the land of the West Bank and encouraged Israelis to try to Judaize Al-Quds.

Muslims Ought to Face the Cancerous Tumor (Israel)Speaking during the forum, Iranian ambassador in Lebanon Ghadanfar Roknabadi assured that Palestine will not remain under occupation. “They accuse Iran of beating the drums of war and facing peace projects. We ask them What peace do you mean? With Israel? We announced from the beginning that we do not recognize this entity,” Roknabadi said. The Iranian ambassador called upon all Muslims to unite and stand together to face this ‘cancerous tumor’ which Imam Khomeini said must be wiped off the map.

Battle for Al-Quds in Our FavorHamas movement representative in Lebanon Ali Barakah warned that Al-Quds and the holy Islamic and Christian sites are in danger today because of Israeli practices, pointing out the next battle will be for the benefit of Muslims. “How would we enter Al-Aqsa mosque, is it through negotiations and compromises?” Barakah wondered stressing that the only way is to destroy all that was built by the usurper entity by struggle and war. “The battle to liberate Al-Quds is coming and is finished” in the favor of Palestinians.

Hizbullah:  Invasi Militer ke Iran akan Membakar Seluruh Timur Tengah Menyinggung perselisihan mendalam antara pejabat Israel dan Amerika tentang serangan terhadap Iran, Wakil Sekjen Hizbullah mengatakan, "Israel tidak memiliki kemampuan dan keberanian untuk berperang sendirian menghadapi Iran, sementara Amerika masih mempertimbangkan bahaya perang dan dekatnya pemilu presiden mendatang. "

Menurut Kantor Berita ABNA, Wakil Sekretaris Jenderal Hizbullah Sheikh Naim Qassem memperingatkan bahwa serangan militer ke Iran akan membakar seluruh Timur Tengah.

"Amerika tahu bahwa perang terhadap Iran akan membakar seluruh kawasan, tanpa mengenal batas," kata Qassem dalam wawancara dengan Reuters, Rabu (29/2).

"Israel bisa memulai perang ... tetapi tidak tahu skala konsekuensinya, dan tidak mampu mengendalikan perang tersebut," tegasnya.

Para pejabat Israel baru-baru ini mengintensifkan retorika perang mengancam Iran dengan serangan militer. Setelah gelombang sanksi bertubi-tubi yang dilancarkan AS dan sekutunya terhadap Iran tidak mampu memaksa Tehran menghentikan program nuklir sipilnya.

Menyinggung perselisihan mendalam antara pejabat Israel dan Amerika tentang serangan terhadap Iran, Wakil Sekjen Hizbullah mengatakan, "Israel tidak memiliki kemampuan dan keberanian untuk berperang sendirian menghadapi Iran, sementara Amerika masih mempertimbangkan bahaya perang dan dekatnya pemilu presiden mendatang. "

Dia menambahkan bahwa Washington percaya konflik dengan Iran menyebabkan pasukan AS dan sekutunya di wilayah ini menghadapi risiko, dan akan memperdalam krisis ekonomi global dengan naiknya harga minyak mentah di pasar dunia.

Ketika ditanya apakah Hizbullah akan menyerang Israel sebagai balasan atas setiap serangan terhadap Republik Islam Iran, Sheikh Qassem mengatakan Iran bisa mempertahankan diri, tetapi serangan itu akan membakar seluruh kawasan.

Hezbollah: Attack on Iran Would Set Middle East Ablaze Hezbollah Deputy Secretary General Sheikh Naim Qassem said that “an Israeli attack [aimed at thwarting] Iran's nuclear program would set the Middle East ablaze.

(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - In an interview with Reuters published on Wednesday, Sheikh Qassem said that such an attack “could possibly drag in the United States and unleash a conflict beyond the Jewish state's control.”

“America knows that if there is a war on Iran, this means that the whole region will be set alight," he added.

His eminence also voiced belief that “Israel would try to drag the US into a confrontation with Tehran.”

Asked if Hezbollah would attack Israel in response to any strike on Iran, Sheikh Qassem said Iran can defend itself but that such an attack would "ignite the entire region."
